I have seen a rider falling off his horse
Trampled under hoofs of others at race
Galloping through woods, swamps and deserts
I have seen that rider lying still and dead.

I have seen a rider falling off his horse
Broken, his limbs with wounds on his face
And even stronger will to cross that forest
I have seen that rider struggling among the dead.

I have seen another falling off his horse
Thrown into deepest gorges of peril,
His broken and torn body hung on a tree
Being eaten alive by vultures, I have seen.

I have seen another falling off his horse
Into the same trench of an old peril
His legs were torn apart but those eyes were free
He struggled and rode and fought, I have seen.

I have seen many a riders, many trespassers
Who have slipped into swamps, some with the flow
Many have been buried underneath their greed,
Many have been tricked to the door of death.

I have also seen riders, mostly travellers
Who have left footprints of hardwork to carry with the flow
Their eyes had the spark to rise above the breed
They were called the Legends of a broader shibboleth.
